Do you work in a routine or manual job in Derby or Derbyshire and smoke?

We're running a short survey to learn more about smoking habits among people working in hands-on roles.

Routine and manual workers often include people in hands-on, practical jobs that often involve physical work, These can be jobs such as construction, care, in warehouses, retail, farming, and other manual jobs.

We want to understand what support is out there, what messages are working (or not), and what might help more people to quit. By sharing your thoughts, you can help shape future stop-smoking campaigns and services so they work better for the people who use them.

The survey takes just 5–10 minutes to complete. It asks about your job, your smoking habits, what support you know about, and how you feel about quitting.

As a thank you, you can choose to enter a prize draw to win a £50 Love2shop voucher!

Your answers will be shared anonymously with local health organisations, including the NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board, Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, stop smoking services, and a local PR agency involved in public health messaging. This will help ensure future support and campaigns are relevant, effective, and easy to access.

If you or someone you know works in a routine or manual job and smokes, we’d love to hear from you. Your views matter and could help make a real difference to local support.
