We are celebrating the difference our volunteers make this Volunteers Week, 1 – 7 June 2022.
The past couple of years have been more difficult than usual for most, but our volunteers here at Healthwatch Derbyshire have more than risen to the challenge!
Over the last year, 53 volunteers have offered their time and skills. They have volunteered an impressive 179 hours which equates to 147 days of volunteering in total. From befriending calls throughout the pandemic, promotional videos for learning disability health checks, to collaborating with external partner agencies, the volunteers have undertaken some very valuable work.

Have Your Say: Survey for Professional Home Care Workers
We’re working with Derbyshire County Council’s Public Health team to hear directly from professional home care workers about infection prevention and flu vaccinations. Their feedback will help shape future support for the workforce and the people they care for.
