Audiology Department – Suite 7 Enter and View Report

In November 2024, our Authorised Representatives completed an Enter and View visit to the Audiology Department at Suite 7, Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The visit aimed to gather patient feedback and observe the service from a patient’s point of view.

Key Findings:

• Patient Feedback: 20 patients and carers were interviewed. The majority were positive about the service, praising the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff.
• Facilities: The clinic was described as clean and welcoming, though some signage and accessibility issues were noted. Parking and directions to the department were challenging for some people.
• Recommendations: Suggestions included improving website information and signage around the hospital, increasing awareness of alternative transport options, and adding more engaging materials in the waiting area.
• Accessibility Audit: Conducted alongside the visit, it highlighted areas for improvement, such as clearer signage and better accessibility information online.
