About the role

Healthwatch has the legal power to visit health and care services to see them in action. This is known as Enter and View. We capture the voice and experience of people using the services, write and publish reports, and suggest recommendations for improvements.

These services could include local hospitals, GP practices, care homes, day centres, opticians, and pharmacies.

Following all visits, our findings are reported to the service provider and commissioners. These reports are also published and shared through our website, Healthwatch England report library and Joined up Care Derbyshire reports library.

  • Plan structured Enter and View visits to health and care services in Derbyshire
